My name is Maddy, a 26-year-old medical student in Ohio. Over the past few years, my college menu of quesadillas and dino nuggets has transformed into simmering bolognese sauce and thai noodle stir fry. As my mother says, “There’s never a moment Maddy isn’t thinking about her next meal.” Which is entirely true.
While much of the daily menu centers around health conscious choices, I don’t only cook kale and veggie burgers. My main goal is to eat real food – cook from scratch and know what’s going in your body! But, you’ll find the occasional sweet treat here too – after all, I did start as a baker and I can’t let go of my roots.
I hope I inspire those who shy away from the kitchen to stay in for date night and try a new recipe or experienced chefs to think outside the box! An apple a day won’t keep this doctor away!
